H&R Block — Establishment, finance and accounting at 9 Main Street, East Hartford, Connecticut.

My rating is for the manager Sue. I previously called and spoke with another representative that informed me my tax return had been mailed out a month ago. It must have been lost in the mail. I called back to get more information for what the next steps were. Unfortunately, Sue was not willing to help the situation. I explained to her that I had dates, names, and the return amount. She refused to discuss anything until I would give her my husbands social security number. I knew this was not necessary as everyone else I spoke with were able to help. After her short and rude remarks I asked for the manager. She went on to say she was happy to help me but couldn't. I again explained I didn't appreciate how unprofessional and rude she was. Sue went on to babble about she's been doing her job for 18 years. Once she started with trying to convince the both of us she knew what she was doing, I gave up and called corporate. She may just need some customer service re-training!
